According to Business First, the Capital Plaza office tower project is still being pursued. Barrister Commercial Group LLC is quoted as saying that they are in ongoing negotiations with the city about the land and an out of town company becoming its main tenant. It is good news, that it's an out of town tenant, because at one point it was rumored that all would hinge on Humana renting space.
The 130 million dollar tower is planned to have 25 stories and will be located on the surface lot just north of Metro Hall, between sixth and seventh street.

I was wondering when I would hear any news on Capital Plaza. I'm glad to hear it's being pursued.
